For Organisations — Neurowellness Programmes

This is not a wellness programme.
This is a performance intervention.

Chronic fight-or-flight is not a personality trait in your workforce — it is a physiological state that shows up in your absenteeism numbers, your attrition rates, and your rising mental health benefit claims. Equilibrium by Design addresses the root. Not the symptom.

The problem

Chronic fight-or-flight is now a measurable corporate cost.

High-performing professionals are trained to push through pressure. But the nervous system cannot distinguish between productive challenge and chronic threat. When threat becomes the baseline, the body stays dysregulated — and the organisation pays for it in ways HR reports rarely name directly.

Mental health claims are now the fastest-growing category of disability claims in Canadian corporate benefits plans, surpassing musculoskeletal claims for the first time. The nervous system is the intervention point. Not after the claim. Before it.

Most workplace wellness programmes treat symptoms — mindfulness apps, one-day retreats, EAP referrals that go unused. Equilibrium by Design works at the physiological root through nervous system regulation: because a dysregulated nervous system cannot absorb coaching, leadership training, or any behavioural intervention. Regulation must come first.

This is neurowellness. Evidence-based, clinically grounded, and applied directly to your organisation’s performance challenges.

The business case

The cost of doing nothing

Unaddressed dysregulation shows up in your P&L in ways that are measurable, predictable, and preventable.

Who we work with

Three sectors. One framework.

The neurowellness framework is the same. What changes is the language, the delivery context, and the specific costs we are addressing.

Law Firms & Legal

Your associates are excellent. They are also burning out faster than you can replace them.

Legal practice demands sustained threat detection. The nervous system pays for it in chronic cortisol elevation, communication breakdown, reduced judgment under pressure, and eventual burnout. Replacing a single associate costs 150–200% of annual salary. Regulation is cheaper.

We work with associates, senior counsel, and legal leadership to build regulation skills that reduce clinical mental health claims, improve retention, and sustain performance without the attrition cycle.

Corporations & Executives

Absenteeism and attrition are symptoms. Dysregulation is the diagnosis.

Rising mental health benefit claims, presenteeism, and invisible attrition are the measurable face of nervous system dysregulation at scale. For every $1 invested in workplace wellness, $6 comes back. The question is not whether to invest. It is where to intervene.

We work with executive teams, HR leaders, and high-performing departments to build regulation-first cultures where sustainable performance replaces the fight-or-flight cycle that drives invisible churn.

IB & Premium Schools

Your highest-achieving students are anxious. Your most committed teachers are leaving. Both are symptoms of the same system.

IB culture rewards excellence while quietly building the conditions for burnout — in staff and students simultaneously. The pressure to perform without the tools to regulate creates invisible attrition, declining wellbeing metrics, and a generation of high-achievers who have outsourced their resilience.

We deliver sequenced neurowellness and AI literacy programmes for students, teachers, and parents — built on Polyvagal Theory, the IB learner profile, and 18 years of classroom and curriculum leadership.

From the room

What participants say.

“I’ve been to a lot of professional development sessions and most feel disconnected from what actually happens day to day. This was different because we worked through real scenarios. I left with a clearer way to handle difficult conversations, especially when emotions are already high. I’ve already used it twice.”

— Programme Coordinator

“The burnout discussion was more specific than what I’ve heard before. It focused on how we structure our work — constant task-switching, responding immediately to everything, never properly completing tasks. That’s exactly how I was working. I’m not as scattered by end of day.”

— Programme Manager

“The idea that confidence comes from repeated completed actions rather than just mindset made sense immediately. I started using it with a team member who tends to overpromise. We focus on smaller completed tasks. The follow-through is measurably better.”
